Well thats another season over for the club, my thanks to everyone involved

River producing some outstanding Barbel catches at the moment many double figure fish being caught all along the stretch.


Great News Midland are holding there prices for the 2017/18 season. River permits are £32 and day tickets £3.50 this represents the best value on the the river Trent.



Unusual catch Dave Briggs caught one of only two Sturgeon in Robin Hood lake at Little John he will now join Chris the Bullhead as Dave the Sturgeon.


My thanks to the lads who turned up to the bank clearing on a wet evening the team did a great job cutting trees and clearing litter I have attached a couple of photos, turnout was very disappointing.
Our resident twitcher Mike Fletcher gave us an insight into the birds on show, spotted were Oyster catchers Swifts Swallows Sand Martins and some Finches proving what a special place Hoveringham river section is.
