Inline with Notts Anglers and Notts Fed we are opening our water from 8am Saturday 26th July.
We ask all anglers to take care when landing big fish to ensure they are returned to the water as soon as possible and to give them time to recover before release, also not to use keepnets if possible.

We have had a report of people deficating in Hoveringham Pastures, this is not acceptable anyone found to be involved will be banned for life. This applies to all our water, further incidents could result in the banning of night fishing on our water. The owners of these fields generously allow us to share this stretch of water which is also used to graze livestock. The Owners are seriously considering stopping fishing if this does not stop. Please use bins provided bag it up and dispose of it responcibly We ask all members to help stop this happening. Thank you for co operation.

Also ensure night anglers are off the water by 7.30 latest if stretch is booked for a match.

Announcement 23rd November 2021
Ian Mac member of the Midland Sadly passed away.
We have recieved the sad news today of the passing of our friend and long time member Ian Mac, Ian was a loving husband to his wife Chris,
Ian was well known in angling circles., and worked tirelessly for the Nottingham Federation of Anglers for many years.
Ian was a fervent supporter of his beloved magpies who he followed through thick and thin. he will be missed by all who knew him.
We send our deepest sympathy to his wife Chris
Many thanks to the lads who turned up for bank clearing on the 11th June 2020
